Saturday was by far our most laid back day. Katie and I slept in while Nick met up with his cousin, who was also in town for Super Bowl weekend, for breakfast at the Wynn. Katie and I finally decided to get out of bed and head down stairs to go Starbucks and find our most favorite Black Jack game. In case you're wondering . . . Katie won, I lost.
After playing around in the hotel casino for a bit, we met back up with Nick and hopped on the bus to go explore for a bit. It was pretty much instantly that I began to feel sick. I was sitting backwards on the bus and the driver was a crazy one. Katie also started to get an upset stomach too, so we made a medicine run at CVS and went to get some lunch. Lunch was most definitely needed and that really helped. We made our way back up the strip and went to the Paris for a bit, and, of course, Katie's most favorite Sugar Factory! She's such a lover of anything at the Paris!
Our next stop was to head back to our hotel and check out some places for Super Bowl Sunday. I have had it on my Bucketlist to try an Oxygen Bar sometime while I was in Las Vegas and we found one at Kahaunaville in Treasure Island. I think Katie and Nick were both apprehensive, but they both joined me. They get you hooked up, then give you a head, shoulder and back massage. We tried a variety of oils and they let us stay for over an HOUR! Normally, it's just 20 minutes, but she was really cool and just let us hang out. We for souvenirs, too! I seriously walked out of there feeling amazing! I will ALWAYS, from now on, schedule some time at the Oxygen Bar into every Vegas trip.
After we got that out of our system we got ready and went to dinner downstairs at the "Coffee Shop" which is a restaurant in Treasure Island. We actually had dinner there on our last trip too, it was quite the hilarious experience. All kinds of people come to Las Vegas . . . ALL kinds! We both had chicken fettuccine and the waiter tried to serve me some weird drink that I think he made up. We continue to have funny memories from this place! :)
After dinner we went upstairs and Nick came up back after the fight was over. After a great performance of dancing on chairs and beds to "What Does the Hawk Say?" we decided that it was 10:30 at night and we were young and alive in Las Vegas, so we should hop on the bus and go to NYNY Hotel to ride the roller coaster. Why not, right?!
After the coaster we stopped at Ben and Jerry's for the ice cream- which Katie spilled on her Seahawk jersey (yes, we lived in them because we could), so we had to stop and pick up some Tide To Go! Haha!
That about sums up our Saturday in Las Vegas on the eve of the Super Bowl.
Stay tuned for my final post of this once in lifetime trip! Muah! XoXo
