Don't Mess With Texas!

I wouldn’t consider myself overly high maintenance, but one thing in my life that requires more attention than the next person is…my nails! 

Seeing my fingers without nail polish is about as rare as finding a 4 leaf clover.  I’m not sure what got me so hooked on it, but I almost feel naked without it!

After sporting Lincoln Park After Dark for the past 3 months, due to the winter “blues”, you can image how excited I felt about the release of OPI’s new spring/summer collection.

Big Hair…Big Nails is definitely a summer color I’ll wear on my toes, once it’s time to break out the flip flops!

I Vant To Be A-Lone Star is one of those shades that looks PERFECT with a suntan, because it just pops off that golden glow.

I typically play it pretty safe on my fingers (red, pink, darks, or french), so when I want to spice it up, I’ll throw something wild on my toes.  Don’t Mess With OPI or Austin-tatious Turquoise are perfect for this!

For me, wearing nail polish is a great avenue to express my mood or an accessory to brighten up my outfit.  I know a lot of people don’t like the hassle of painting their own nails, but give it a shot this spring.  I guarantee you will love the way a fresh coat of polish will make you feel.
