This is my "old" tv. I LOVE this television. It fit in the hole in the wall SO perfectly! Unfortunately, the lamp/bulb finally burned out and I thought that a new one was probably a better idea rather than spending the money to replace the blub now and probably again a year down the road. Last week I set off to Best Buy for a new one.
So here it is...

It's definitely a lot smaller than the old one. I went from a 50" down to a 46" and it sure does feel a lot smaller- maybe I am just not quite use to it yet! I wanted to replace it with another 50" but . . . apparently 50" televisions only come in plasma and I don't have a truck to transport a plasma (they are gas powered, so they can't be laid down to transport) so I had to go with an LCD. I will say that the picture is a whole lot better than the other one and it doesn't show any glare from the windows!

I have a plasma...I laid it down to transport it....that's weird that nobody told me I couldn't!!! But I haven't noticed any problems. I like 46inches...I think it's the perfect size! Plus it fits in your little cubby hole perfectly!
