Everyday they offer one deal in your city... I have bought a few of them now and they are great. Unfortunately, they don't have a Groupon for Vancouver, (although they did have one pop up) but they do for Portland. I am also set up to get the notifications for Groupons in Tacoma (which I have purchased for family).
Here is how it works...
*Just today I got a mani/pedi at a salon in Portland for $15! I paid $15 for a $45 dollar gift certificate!
*Last week I bought for for Vancouver, it also cost $15 and it was for a $35 gift certificate to Lapellah in Vancouver.
* I have another for a salon in Portland. It was $45 and it's a $180 gift certificate for spa treatments!!! I can't wait to use that one! :o)
