Soooooooo...... I'm bitter! I keep seeing all you people getting getting your tax returns back and we're stuck paying a TON! I really never expected that we would owe money. I feel like it's a punishment for having a successful year. We're having extra taxes taken out this year and we hope to break even next year. I think whoever thought of these ridiculous tax brackets are stupid. Once you make a certain amount of money and make it into a certain tax bracket you start paying 14% for taxes and not 7%? How is that fair?!?
I assumed (see that's what you get when you assume) that we'd get at least a little something back. I already had it spent in my mind.... a deck out back and money to continue the road to baby. Unless you've been there you have NO idea how expensive all things that relate to fertility can be. Unfortunately, having to give our savings and then some to the government will indeed hinder how quickly we can move the process. Good thing we're not in a big hurry and are starting when we are really young.... :o)

It's retarded. Really. I get really heated when I see people that made NOTHING and contributed NOTHING to taxes all year long, got welfare, got food stamps, got all these benefits from the government AND THEN they get 7000 dollars back in taxes!?! THEY DIDNT EVEN MAKE 7000 IN THE WHOLE YEAR!!! Freaking RIDICULOUS!!!! UGH! But that's that.
Josh and I wouldn't have gotten anything back if we hadn't had Brookelynn, luckily you get a little tax break the year you have a child....so you can look forward to that! I work in Oregon too, so I had to pay Oregon taxes too...which wasn't too bad, but still.
Those of us who work hard for our money, pay for those who don't. And it really REALLY erks me.
Im sorry you guys owe. But hey! You own a house, and got 8000 dollars back for that? I know it's still not fair...but...ummm that was me trying to make it better? :o(
I FEEL YA SISTA!!!
That's so unfair, I'm sorry!
