Growing up Costco was always a favorite of mine. When I moved away from home I really missed going there all the time. I considered getting a membership when we got married, but we had a little problem called LACK OF STORAGE at our last place, so we didn't get the membership. I relied on Mom or Papa to bring us toilet paper and paper towels to Vancouver each time they came to visit! Thanks guys! :o)
For our first year wedding anniversary in August my family got us a Costco membership! I wasn't sure how much we'd use it since it's just the two of us, but.... MAN do we use it! I'm kind of a Costco addict. I am there wayyyyyy too much and that leads to me spending way too much money there. At first I was making weekly visits, but now I'm happy to report it's down to every other week visits now. Heck, we even upgraded from the "Gold Star" membership to the "Executive" membership!
Basically I love Costco. Here is why:
* It is 5 minutes from my house. SERIOUSLY.
* They have cheap hot dogs that taste really good. I love hot dogs.
* They have great stuff there that I actually WANT, including:
o Meat that I buy and freeze for later
o Take and Bake Pizzas
o Bananas (I LOVE bananas)
o Dog Treats
o Cleaning Products
o Eggs (18 for the price of a dozen elsewhere)
o Essentials for daily life including: paper towels and toilet paper
* And, of course, free samples. We all love those, right?
